UK Law firm introduces Harvey, the chatbot legal assistant

The adoption of AI and recent media prominence given to chatbots such as ChatGPT has led some in the services sector to question whether AI technology is set to replace them.

Whilst the firm are clear that the main purpose of Harvey is to produce basic drafts of simple documents which lawyers can use as a starting point, it highlights the evolving role of advisors and how we add value to clients.

These exciting developments will invariably shake up a large number of sectors and it will be very interesting to see how industries adapt to integrate these technologies going forward.

"...a paradigm shift that will change the way people practise."
